As a medical student, especially in the UK our holidays are far far shorter than all other courses that I know of. Currently, it is the Easter Holiday, also known as Spring Break. Generally it is one month long but for my colleagues and I, we only have from the 5th April until the 11th of April. That is exactly 7 days starting today (Thursday) until next Wednesday.
Don’t know why but only yesterday I realize my dearest and I are pretty much the only ones who are NOT travelling anywhere. Everyone else is travelling all over UK meeting friends and family. The original plan was to take this holiday really easy and start to get into habit of studying and preparing for exam. We thought that it would be far more beneficial to travel when nearer to exam when the stress level begins to peak. Plus, this month we’re on a tight budget, so traveling is out of the question.
But no matter the reason or excuse, I feel bad for my dearest who have been stuck in Southampton with me and I know she desperately wants to see friends in the north. We don’t have any solid plans so far besides staying home and making the library our nest.

Well, its been a few days and somewhat satisfied so far. There’s only so few days so planning to make the most of it. =) I’m alright.
