Day 84 – New Hair style

As title. No picture of my hair until my dearest see it in person. The plan is to meet in the airport with new hairstyles. See if we could laugh at each other or make butterfly stomach. I suspect the latter when i see my dear soon.

Continued spending quality time with family. Continue with wedding planning today.

Day 83 – Exhausted

All day with family today. For the first time in a very very long time, all 6 members are home together. When all family members together, of course, picture time.

Spent 1 hour of photoshoot. Studio style with timer. =)

Good quality time with brothers in cinema. The Mummy (2017), was surprisingly good.

Feet photograph.

Day 83 – Quality time

A Malaysian being a Malaysian.

We are obsessed about food. And I’m confident in representing the entire country in that respect.

My dearest and my family had good long conversations about various topics. Time well spent and drank loads of bubble tea.

Night was my favourite. So awesome…. (mouth drool despite full stomach).

Day 82 – Home Sweet Home

Arrived at night in Malaysia. Warm, humid and smells ‘thick’.

Hug parents, small amount of awkward conversations. Milo ice !!! =D

Spend quality time around a big table with all family members.

Having fun saying “This is my fiancee”. =D

Day 81 – 2 for 4?

Reached the airport plenty ahead of time despite terrible traffic A55 (main highway of north Wales).

Had seats on the upper deck of the A380 Bus. Surprisingly good experience because of less seats on the upper deck, there is less congestion to get into the plan.

As usual, watched plenty of movies and get as much sleep as possible.

Lucky us, we have 4 seats all to ourselves. Took turns sleeping lying down completely flat. Best flight sleep I had ever.

The ceiling.

Day 80 – Packing for Home

Its really true, only when you start working, you appreciate any time off work. Especially when it stacks up to a week of holiday.

My dearest and I are going home tomorrow. Kinda glad we have a bit of time to pack rather than trying to squeeze flight times with sleep. This will be quite a short and tiring trip but it is one we are looking forward to.

We’ve always enjoyed flights together. We find it fun and kinda peaceful. Also, there are quite a number of things that needs to be discussed with family personally. =)

There is a good chance that I’ll miss a couple of days with my 365 project. I’ll do retrospective entries.

Day 79 – Foreigner’s perspective in Marriage

As I’ve mentioned before, my dearest and I are in the process of getting married. Each and every day, there are interesting challenges when planning a wedding just the two of us with minimal/no help from locals.

It is not that we don’t want help, but when you live in a foreign country, its kind of hard to ask for help from the locals. Especially something as sensitive, personal and culturally different as marriage.

What’s more, living outside home country, you get used to getting everything done by ourselves. We do our own research, we make our own contacts and we make every decision. Plus we are low on friends and family.

It really does give us a different perspective on how to get things done.

Guess what is in the box?

Day 77 – A dance for me

My dearest introduced a new song:-

Despacito by Luis Fonsi

Spent all night listening to the same some with different remixes.

Danced peacefully together.

My dear had a hard day today.

And I just checked my MRCP results. Failed. Oh well. Not exactly surprisingly.
